Q: What if the recipient is not home when the gift is delivered?
A: On average, a courier will attempt to deliver a product twice before the gift is sent back to us. If it is considered that leaving the item is a safe alternative the courier may choose to leave the item. If specific delivery instructions are required please notify us when the purchase is made. Contact us to ensure delivery instructions are received.

Q: How can I ensure my gift is delivered on a specific date?
A: The shipping carriers we use are very reliable however, there are times during peak holiday seasons that shipments are sometimes delayed due to the sheer volume they handle. For this reason they do not absolutely guarantee delivery times. We will say that our couriers have an accuracy rate of delivering gifts safely 99.9% of the time. During busy holiday seasons we would suggest ordering as early as possible to ensure a timely delivery.

Q: Is it possible to have a product arrive on the day it was purchased?
A: We do offer same day delivery for the Greater Toronto Area. For a list of the cities that this applies to please click here. For same day shipping, all orders must be received by 10am that morning.

Q: Do you Deliver to Businesses and if so how will I be sure the gift will not be delivered on a weekend?
A: Yes we do deliver to business addresses. You will have an opportunity in the ordering process to enter the business name, address and unit number etc., indicating that the delivery address is in fact a business. Generally couriers such as FedEx do not deliver on weekends unless otherwise specified, however, purchase early in the week to ensure the gift is received before the weekend.

BelenGift offers a variety of credible shipping options to ensure each purchase is received in a timely manner. We aim to make each delivery as convenient to the customer as possible. Our gifts are shipped via FedEx, DHL or UPS depending on the product and destination.
We do our absolute best to make certain that your order arrives on the day you requested.  However, due to the large volume of parcels being shipped during the busy holiday season, our carriers cannot guarantee shipping dates.  To avoid disappointment, please order early.

Returns and Refunds

All of our products at BelenGift are accompanied by our 100% satisfaction guaranteed promise. If there are any issues with the products or services we will be happy to assist you in correcting the problem. Please refer to the returns policy below to see if your gift qualifies. Fresh Products/Perishable Gift Baskets
Due to health and safety reasons, food baskets are not returnable. However, if a product arrives damaged we will provide further assistance to replace it. Simply call us at support@belengift.com within 48 hours of delivery and we assist in correcting the issue.

Non-Perishable Gift Baskets
If an item arrives damaged we will be happy to replace it. Simply call us within 48 hours of delivery.

PLEASE NOTE:
For gift baskets returned to us because the recipient did not reply to delivery notices, refused the package, or the address was incorrect/incomplete the purchase price will be refunded to the credit card less shipping cost and a 15% re-stocking fee. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. For your protection, use an insured courier to return items and retain your shipping receipt for parcel tracking. We reserve the right to request that the item be returned to us before being replaced.

Fruit Gift Baskets and Cheesecakes cannot be shipped on Thursday unless the Overnight shipping option is chosen. Otherwise your order will be shipped on the following Monday.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been sent out for delivery or have been shipped.

Please ensure that the address of the recipient is correct and complete. Kindly provide us with daytime contact details.

Both local and out of town couriers will make an average of two delivery attempts, leaving notices for recipients, before returning a package.

Re-shipping a package will incur new shipping charges plus a handling fee of 15% to cover gift inspection, replacement of any items, rewrapping and repackaging for shipping, before returning a package.

Due to laws governing alcohol sales, we are unable to ship Wine Baskets to the following states: AL, AR, CO, DE, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MS, MT, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OK, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX, VT, WI

Gift Presentation

Every product from BelenGift is prepared with the utmost care to ensure it is aesthetically appealing. We take pride in the presentation of our products and prepare them so the customer knows upon arrival they have received a truly special gift.

Presentation
Gift Baskets come wrapped in cello, tied with ribbons and adorned with an elegant. At checkout time you will be asked to type in a message for the card accompanying your gift or basket.

Substitutions
In addition, due to the popularity of some Gift Baskets, BelenGift reserves the right to substitute certain products contained in the baskets or the baskets themselves. Any products substituted will be replaced with products of equal or greater value to ensure the value of the gift is unchanged.

Depending on the season and product availability, some gourmet items may be substituted, but always for those of equal or greater value. During the hot summer months, we will substitute certain delicate, fast-melting chocolates.
