Our online ordering system uses industry standard secure locket layers
(SSL) 128 bit encryption that is used by banks and the military. SSL,
protects your personal and credit card information by scrambling the
data you submit and ensures there has not been an interception of any
kind. To verify that the transaction is secure check that the URL has
an added ’s‘ (ie. https://) instead of the usual http:// and look at
the top of your browser where you should see the SSL security icon (a

Fresh Products/Perishable Gift Baskets
Due to health and safety reasons, food baskets are not returnable.
However, if a product arrives damaged we will provide further
assistance to replace it. Simply call us at support@belengift.com within 48 hours of delivery and we assist in correcting the issue.
Non-Perishable Gift Baskets
If an item arrives damaged we will be happy to replace it. Simply call us within 48 hours of delivery.
PLEASE NOTE:
For gift baskets returned to us because the recipient did not reply to
delivery notices, refused the package, or the address was
incorrect/incomplete the purchase price will be refunded to the credit
card less shipping cost and a 15% re-stocking fee. We are not
responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. For your protection,
use an insured courier to return items and retain your shipping receipt
for parcel tracking. We reserve the right to request that the item be
returned to us before being replaced.
To keep you informed, you will receive and order notification
when your order is placed and a delivery notification when your order
is shipped complete. Outlined below are BelenGift policies regarding
shipping and delivery. Please take a second to read through our

Special care is used to ensure gift basket edibles, such as fresh foods and chocolates, arrive safely
We do our absolute best to make certain that your order arrives on the
day you requested. However, due to the large volume of parcels being
shipped (especially during busy holiday seasons), our carriers cannot
guarantee shipping dates. To avoid disappointment, please order early.
TAXES
Applicable taxes will be collected for orders delivered within Canada. Orders with a US destination address are tax-free.
PLEASE NOTE:
Fruit Gift Baskets and Cheesecakes
cannot be shipped on Thursday unless the Overnight shipping option is
chosen. Otherwise your order will be shipped on the following Monday.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been sent out for delivery or have been shipped.
Please ensure that the address of the recipient is correct and complete. Kindly provide us with daytime contact details.
Both local and out of town couriers will make an average of two
delivery attempts, leaving notices for recipients, before returning a
package.
Re-shipping a package will incur new shipping charges plus a
handling fee of 15% to cover gift inspection, replacement of any items,
rewrapping and repackaging for shipping, before returning a package.
Due to laws governing alcohol sales, we are unable to ship
Wine Baskets to the following states: AL, AR, CO, DE, FL, GA, IN, IA,
KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MS, MT, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OK, PA, RI, SD,
TN, TX, VT, WI
Every product from BelenGift is prepared with the utmost care
to ensure it is aesthetically appealing. We take pride in the
presentation of our products and prepare them so the customer knows
upon arrival they have received a truly special gift.
Presentation
Gift Baskets come wrapped in cello, tied with ribbons and adorned with
an elegant. At checkout time you will be asked to type in a message for
the card accompanying your gift or basket.
Substitutions
In addition, due to the popularity of
some Gift Baskets, BelenGift reserves the right to substitute certain
products contained in the baskets or the baskets themselves. Any
products substituted will be replaced with products of equal or greater
value to ensure the value of the gift is unchanged.
Depending on the season and product availability, some gourmet
items may be substituted, but always for those of equal or greater
value. During the hot summer months, we will substitute certain
delicate, fast-melting chocolates.
